Generate tech-support file

The command  generate tech-support archive gathers all the logs, core dump, configuration(stripping private data) and stores in the support directory(/opt/vyatta/etc/config)

vyos@vyos:~$ generate tech-support archive
Possible completions:
         Execute the current command
          Generate compressed tech-support archive at the specified path
  :@/>
  :@/>

Make sure to have enough space in your instance to store the file.

Output:

vyos@vyos:~$ generate tech-support archive
Saving the archivals... 
Saved tech-support archival at /opt/vyatta/etc/config/support/vyos.tech-support-archive.2021-10-04-183054.tgz
